Student review:
I have been attending classes with Karen for many years now, starting with her term classes and then moving into the monthly weekend sessions. Karen is a fantastic teacher! She takes a step-by-step approach to getting the basics of wheel throwing understood and then builds on those skills, adding more complex pieces to your repertoire. Karen has a love of ceramics that is infectious and with her classes creates a relaxing space to set your creativity free. Lee Turnley.
Classes are suitable for any skill level, especially beginners.
All equipment, clay and glazes are included for beginners: $295 for 4 classes. For all pieces that you choose to keep, additional firing charges apply, $15 per kg per firing, (cash payment on collection). Each piece requires two kiln firings. This encourages you to be more discerning about the work you choose to keep, as fired work is on earth forever and cannot be recycled after it has commenced the first firing.
Unlimited amounts of recycled clay is available for both wheel throwing.
